Casting Information: Scott Speedman, Aaron Douglas Be a part of Bryan Bertino’s ‘There Are Monsters’

The story surrounds a mom and daughter who’re suffering from a ruthless creature.

Scott Speedman is teaming up once more with director Bryan Bertino. Speedman starred Bertino’s 2008 directorial debut The Strangers, and the duo is again for extra within the newly introduced There Are Monsters. Additionally starring are Aaron Douglas (Battlestar Galactica), Ella Ballentine (The Captive), and Zoe Kazan (Olive Kitteridge).

The Hollywood Reporter says:

The film focuses on a mom and daughter who’re trapped and laid low with a ruthless creature.

Manufacturing on the Atlas Unbiased, an affiliate firm of Charles Roven’s Atlas Leisure, and Unbroken Footage venture is underway in Canada.

William Inexperienced and Aaron Ginsburg of Atlas Unbiased will produce with Adrienne Biddle of Unbroken Footage. Atlas Leisure’s Richard Suckle will function an government producer alongside Sonny Mallhi.

There Are Monsters might be distributed by A24 within the U.S. and is about to launch in 2016.

From the creator of The Strangers comes a world of the misplaced: freezing, spitting needles of rain, thunderbolt lightning, hypothermic chilly, and disorientating utter darkness.

A mom and daughter are trapped and tormented in a black forest by a screeching creature – it’s in contrast to something we’ve got heard earlier than. Not human. Not animal. Like a thousand horses, like a mom’s clamour, a child’s wail, a father’s howl.

Their relationship on the breaking level, 10-yr-previous Lizzy is all out of religion in her mom, Kathy, however tries to remain courageous and fearless.
